Tom Taylor is completing his 6th year on the Hospice Brazos Valley Board and has served as Chairman of the Board for the past two years. He has a long history of living in Aggieland.  His parents and grandparents lived in the Brazos Valley and Tom has lived in the B/CS area for over 60 years beginning in 1954. He attended A&M Consolidated Schools and graduated from Texas A&M University (TAMU) in 1966 with a BBA in Accounting. Mr. Taylor worked in Houston for Texaco, Inc. for three years, before beginning a career at Texas A&M University that spanned over 36 years.

Mr. Taylor indicated that he has developed a whole new appreciation for Hospice Brazos Valley since first coming on the Board and learning more about the mission of the organization.  As he has spoken with families who have used HBV, he realized that the compassion and selfless service of the staff is what makes this organization great. This is true from the Executive Team to the volunteers and all positions in between.  They truly care about the patients.  Tom says, “It has been an honor to serve in this organization.”
