The goal of the Inpatient Facility is to support you and your loved ones through this difficult time.
In this home-like setting, nurses, aides, social workers, physicians, chaplains and volunteers aggressively treat physical and emotional pain and symptoms. All treatments focus on comfort.
You are encouraged to bring personal items, including clothing, photos and music; whatever creates a sense of peace during your stay.
THE INPATIENT DIFFERENCE

Sofas in rooms fold out into beds for family members to spend the night. Each room contains a separate bathroom. In April 2018, the facility was refreshed with brand new furnishings ensuring the space remains bright & comfortable.
FOR LOVED ONES
Light meals are offered daily for family who are visiting those receiving care. These complementary meals are provided to allow family members to be replenished while making the most of their time with their loved one.
We believe visits from pets are therapeutic. Family members or loved ones may bring pets in for visits that have current vaccination health records
and are “flea-free”.
Pet visitors must be well mannered around other people and pets.

Creating a Memory Tile or making a gift to reserve a leaf on the Legacy Tree are only two of many ways to remember your loved ones. Another way to honor your loved one is to make a monetary gift to Hospice Brazos Valley. Monetary gifts ensure the same award-winning hospice care and grief support that your family experienced remains available to all, regardless of their ability to pay. Other ways to pay tribute to loved ones include making a monetary gift to the Hospice Brazos Valley Living Endowment, or attending the annual Celebration of Life or Service of Remembrance events hosted annually by Hospice Brazos Valley.
Hospice Brazos Valley has "planted" a Legacy Tree as a tangible way of remembering your loved ones. We invite you to remember your loved one with a personalized inscription on a leaf to be placed on the Legacy Tree.
The Legacy Tree is located in the family room of the Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient Facility. This beautiful tree was sculpted by a local artist, Alan Lee, and gifted by the Clearfield family
as a loving tribute to Ruth Clearfield.
