The only non-profit hospice, Hospice Brazos Valley & locally owned and operated Atlas Belle Studio,
have partnered together to create the
Brazos Valley Hero Mask Project.
With each purchase of a Brazos Valley Hero Mask ($16), a local senior will also be provided a cloth mask at no cost to them. Masks will be distributed by Hospice Brazos Valley to Brazos Valley area seniors ages 55+.
The purpose of the Brazos Valley Hero Mask Project is to encourage wearing a mask while in public to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community, while also helping to provide masks to local seniors.

HOSPICE BRAZOS VALLEY
Founded in 1989, Hospice Brazos Valley was the first hospice to serve the Brazos Valley and remains the only non-profit hospice serving 17 central Texas counties. The Hospice Brazos Valley team offers comprehensive hospice care in a life-affirming manner. Our award-winning team of skilled professionals celebrate life, bring joy, and serve to heal and nurture both patients and families. Our desire to take an active role in slowing the spread of COVID-19 in our community and our love for seniors inspired us to create the Brazos Valley Hero Mask Project to ensure all those ages 55+ who live in our community have a mask to protect both themselves and others in the Brazos Valley from COVID-19. In addition, we wanted to partner with a locally owned business who also shared our heart for service and found Atlas Belle Studio to be the perfect match.

DETAILS
Brazos Valley Hero Masks are hand made locally by Atlas Bell Studio. The cloth mask you purchase (example pictured left) will be a fitted face mask and will include the following features:

Filter pocket and wire nose bridge option for a more secure fit or to keep glasses from fogging up while mask is in use

Tie back fasteners to prevent ear irritation and provide the wearer with a custom fit

Made of 100% cotton & is machine washable

Created in a pet free/smoke free home

"Wearing is Caring" logo to spread the message that wearing a mask is caring for your community.
Pictured left is an example of the mask you'll receive with your purchase. Each mask you purchase will also provide a mask to an area senior age 55+. Masks can be shipped or picked up locally at Atlas Belle Studio. Masks provided to area seniors
will be distributed by Hospice Brazos Valley.
The CDC advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus
and do not know it from transmitting it to others.

In 2016 Brittany left the corporate world that kept her away from her family for 50 hours a week and dove head first into full-time entrepreneurship. Atlas Belle Studio was born out of her desire to be more present for her children and her love of creation. She's always been a maker of things and found her niche making unique and custom doormats. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in a need for cloth masks, she dusted off her sewing machine and sprung into action. Brittany began sewing cloth masks for friends and family and has also given away hundreds to healthcare providers and medical offices in the community. When she was approached by Hospice Brazos Valley to create masks for the Brazos Valley Hero Mask Project it took only a moment for her
to agree and dive head first into this community partnership.
