Dozen of prom dresses donated
Posted on 04/22/2013
High school prom season is at hand, triggering the hunt for the perfect prom dress for hundreds of young women around the area.
Prom dresses can be expensive and out of reach of some families, but a donation to Hospice Brenham could be an affordable answer.
A donor who wants to remain anonymous has given more than 40 prom dresses to the Hospice Brenham Boutique resale store at 101 E. Main.
All, said Christine McDonald of Hospice Brazos valley are in excellent condition. Some of the dresses still have the tags on them, said McDonald. "They've never been worn."
"Finding the right prom dress is so important, and we all know how expensive these dresses are. This might be a way for someone who might not be able to afford to get a really nice prom dress."
Hospice Brenham Boutique hours are M-F 10am - 5pm and Saturday from 10am - 2pm
